50 Cent... Entrepreneur To Renaissance Man?

Everywhere you turn, you're seeing, or hearing something about money. Some news is good, most is bad, and that is usually due to money or lack of it. And when you don't have it, nothing bothers you more than it being thrown in your face all day. There are people that get discouraged, others use it as motivation. Our subject  faced those same obstacles and capitalized on that very motive.

+50 Cent  said it himself, "The only excuse for being broke, you either dead or in jail." Encountering both ends both ends of the spectrum, +50 Cent  leads by example. Most fans are familiar with his story involving his past in the streets, so I won't be talking about that. What I find interesting is his ability to overcome other hurdles following success. The stardom from the multi-platinum selling Get Rich Or Die Trying, jolted +50 Cent into the big names of rap, as well as into the high tax brackets.
This enabled 50 to sign other artists and help them get their big break, along with more business ventures. From comic books, clothing and movie deals, seems this guy can't go wrong.  Because of his background and street mentality he represented, the artist would take huge criticism for his following album The Massacre. Many said he fell off, turned Hollywood or got too comfortable. Despite his efforts to promote supporting artists, it still seemed he had been written off.
Just like the fighter 50 is, he would not be detoured. Keeping more than one source of income comes natural to the Queens native. He traded his hand at C Lo for shares in the stock market and would become a half a billionaire. Talk about room for comfort, reluctant to slow down,  he turned up his hustle and made more albums. Though, he is a heavyweight in the game, he does not get the same reception from the media as your pop rappers, 50 holds his own with his financial backing from new businesses.

How he finds the time to stay on top while managing two rising brands including an energy drink, SK and a boxing company, SMS Promotions.  Maybe he drinks a lot of SK. You can always keep up with +50 Cent   on his site, ThisIs50.com and for all you plus fans, he is quite active on +Google Plus. Here is a recent favorite featuring a new artist named Hayes.
